Microsoft Partner of the year Awards for the second year in a row!
Last year illuminance Solutions received the Microsoft Global Partner of the Year Award 2019 for Partner of Social Impact on grounds of AvantCare, a platform created to empower care providers with a comprehensive and agile software solution. The driving force behind the design of AvantCare was the NDIS reform and how it impacted care providers.
This year AvantCare has been recognised for our project with chemo@home being a Finalist in the Healthcare category in the 2020 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards. Being amongst the three finalists announced in this category is a big achievement for illuminance Solutions and AvantCare as Healthcare is one of the largest categories in the entire awards program that overall receives over 3,300 nominations from all over the world.

“The AvantCare solution transformed chemo@home’s digital processes. This was crucial to the delivery of our services when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged as we were able to rapidly onboard resources to cater to the significant rise in demand for at home-care for immunocompromised individuals,” said chemo@home Co-Founder and Company Director Lorna Cook.
chemo@home offers a range of at-home treatments for cancer patients across Australia, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusions, as well as medications for patients with other chronic diseases. Administered by a team of trained nurses, chemo@home is a leading country provider of alternative means of treatment, and it serves more than 7,400 home-based patients. Its work helps free up hospital wards and delivers savings to the Australian government.
A few weeks prior to the announcement of the winners and finalists on 14 July 2020, Microsoft published a Customer Story for the project between AvantCare and chemo@home. Click the image below to read the Customer Story.
AvantCare was developed with the belief that with the right application, technology can transform lives. Care providers are a vital service for hundreds of thousands of Australians. However, the sector faces uncertainty from increasing NDIS compliance, human resource demands and evolving client expectations. AvantCare has the potential to transform Care Providers processes and improve overall business outcomes, ensuring care providers can focus resources on where it matters most - their clients. It is our vision, that by empowering care providers we will contribute to the improvement of the everyday lived experience of their clients.
